Privy. Probably mid C19. Brick painted cream with plain tile roof. Entrance faces Colwich Lock
Cottage. Ventilation gaps in brickwork to rear. It appears to be situated directly above lock overflow
weir for sewage disposal. The Trent and Mersey Canal was built between 1766 and 1777 by James
Brindley and Hugh Henshall. Included for group value.
