ROWDE HIGH STREET ST 9762 (south side) 11/249 Alexander monument in churchyard about 11m south of east end of south aisle of Church of St Matthew GV II Chest tomb, early to mid C18, ashlar with moulded base and capstone, two raised oval plaques each side with foliate scroll decoration to centre pier and plain outer piers. South side inscriptions to Thomas (d.1875) and Mary (d.1846) Alexander.
