II
House. Dated on side rainwater heads T.P.1821. Built of brick. Front and rear elevations in grey header bond with red brick dressings and end pilasters. Side elevations of diaper bond with grey headers. Tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys and attics; 3 windows. Front elevation has 12 pane sashes to left and 16 pane horned sash to right in cambered red brick architraves. End pilasters. Projecting central pedimented porch with pilasters, rectangular fanlight and 6 panelled double doors. Behind is a rectangular fanlight and 6 flush panelled doors. Plinth. Side elevations have protruding double flues with Diocletian windows in the angles. Left side has 1 storey service wing with slate roof and external brick chimneystack and section of curved brick wall with ball finials. Rear elevation has 3 mid C19 dormers, the central one pedimented the side ones curved. Facade otherwise similar to front. Complete interior of the period, including fireplaces with reeded surrounds, paterae and firegrates, double doors with reeded surrounds and paterae, 6 panelled doors, door with 2 oval cut outs, staircase with stick balusters, open fireplace to kitchen and bakehouse/brewhouse with 2 bread ovens and scientific king post roof.
