2. C15 or early C16 building, half of a small Wealden House. Concealed from road by row of Victorian shops. Weatherboarded east front of 2 storeys, 1 window with 1-storey, 1-window lean-to left extension. Steeply pitched tiled roof with long hips at north end and ridge stack. C18 iron casement on 1st floor, modern French doors on ground floor. Inside much exposed timber, old plank floors and inglenook partly filled.
