Cottage. Early C17 and mid C20. Box framing with intermediate rail. C20 brick nogging. Pantile roofs. Partial brick plinth. Single ridge stack. Single storey plus attics. 5 bays. T- plan. Windows are mid C20 glazing bar casements. West front has off-centre C20 lean-to porch, flanked to left by single and to right by 2 casements. Above, wall plate inscribed "1607". Above again, a sloping dormer. North gable has a jowled corner post and above, a casement. South gable has arched tie beam. 2 casements. Above, single casement. Rear wing has to south, French window and casement. Rear elevation has lean-to bay window and C20 fenestration. To right of rear wing, lean-to outbuilding with part of corner post and horizontal rail. Remaining fenestration C20. Interior has re-set bressumer and span beam. Wall plate with stud mortices. There is some doubt about the date 1607 on the wall plate being authentic.
