SEEND HIGH STREET ST 9461 (south side) 12/307 Gate piers, front wall and garden walls to High Street and Church 19.3.62 Lane at Manor House (formerly listed as Vicarage garden wall and gate) GV II
Garden walls, late C18 early C19, red brick with ashlar coping. In front of Manor House (q.v.) low wall between two pairs of early C19 pyramid-capped ashlar gate piers. Beyond east gate pier wall is ramped up and continues for some 70m as high garden wall, the corner to Church Lane rebuilt on splay in C20. Wall is ramped down and returns some 95m down Church Lane and is ramped up by churchyard gate. Section along north side of churchyard is not included in listing. Church Lane section is important in framing view of the church.
