Farmbuildings to north-west of the
Lodge at Nostell Priory estate yard

Former coach house, now farmbuilding. c1830, additions c1845. Dressed sandstone with ashlar dressings, stone slate roofs, coped pedimented gables and 2 square ventilators to roof ridge. Plinth, first floor band and moulded eaves band. Single storey. West front 3 window original coach house and later 5 window wing to right arranged 1:1:1:2:1:2. Slightly projecting central bay to original and later blocks topped with pediments. Original coach house has central carriage arch part blocked with triple 2-light casements, to left 12-pane sash, to right former window now doorway with sliding door and overlight, above three 6-pane windows. Later block to right has central 12-pane window to left, 2 doors with overlights and to right single similar door and 12-pane window beyond. Above central 6-pane window flanked by single loft doors with single 6-pane windows beyond. Rear, east front 7 windows with central doorway to each block, that to right blocked and flanked by single windows, that to right blocked. Above each block has central loft door flanked by single windows, except right of left block has 2 windows. These buildings form part of the estate yard to Nostell Priory laid out for Charles W Winn (1795-1974).
