- II
C18, C19. High brick wall on a plinth, extending across most of the frontage. The earlier west section has an entrance formed by the wall curving inwards to meet square piers, the wall between them containing an arched doorway. Red brickwork with moulded stone caps to piers and coping above arch. Plinth. The western end is marked by a brick pier with a moulded brick cap. Eastwards the wall continues, and a pair of stone-capped piers (now linked by the continuous wall) mark the position of a former carriage entrance. A small pier is posi- tioned at the east end, the last short section of wall finishing against a stable building.
