Details
Railway Viaduct SE 0925 SE 679-/10/10039 II Railway viaduct. 1848-50. Built for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Co. Rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings. Curved plan. 9 shallow round arches with ashlar voussoirs and moulded imposts, to the south-west a single broader segmental arch also with ashlar voussoirs and moulded imposts. The 3 lowest arches to the north-east are now blocked.
