2. C15 wealden house, apparently complete but right section covered by projecting modern shop extension. 2 storeys. Hipped, tiled roof with small ridge gables, off-centre chimney stack. 1st floor overhanging at left on carved corner braces. Recessed centre with arch braces supporting roof. Exposed heavy timber framing with plaster or whitewashed brick filling. Various small, restored leaded casements East elevation altered, with modern additions. Much exposed framing inside including spere truss; and fine carved crown post in attic.
