2. The north-eastern part is a late C16 three-bay threshing barn, weatherboarded on a foundation of rubble and brick with a tiled roof, formerly hipped at end, but now brought out into a gable. Tall opposite doors. Inside stout timber framing with large arch-braces and a queen-post roof with wind braces to purlines. Continuing to south-west another three-bay barn of similar construction and materials but with one door only, probably slightly later in date and with rebuilt roof.

The group value note - Obriss Farmhouse, Barn and Smoke House form a group should be inserted in the entries for Obriss Farmhouse and Former Threshing Barn, Toys Hill Brasted Civil Parish.
