House, now with ground-floor shop, completed shortly after 1725. Brown brick with red brick dressings and gauged heads to windows. Original plan of two rooms and rear closet; three storeys and basement. C19 shopfront to ground floor and sashes renewed; six panelled door. Rear elevation much rebuilt after Second World War bomb damage but incorporating some original brickwork and windows. Interior. Ground floor with some panelling in rear closet. Fully panelled staircase hall, with large panels over dado, box cornice. The lower flight with turned baluster open string staircase with decorated ends; the upper flight with closed string stair. First and second floor rooms fully panelled with box cornices, the composition of the panelling divided by raised dadoes. The front rooms are complete but divided by inserted divide; rear room with corner stack. Source: Survey of London, Chelsea Part II, vol.IV, 1913
