GV II
House; later shop premises. Early C19. White brick; fully hipped slate roof with a paired modillion eaves soffit. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellars. 5 window range, arranged 1:1:1:2. The 1st and 3rd windows from the left are bow windows, which originally extended to ground level but are now cut off below the 1st storey. Their curved tripartite sash windows have 12-pane central lights. The remaining windows are all 12-pane sashes in shallow plain reveals with flat gauged arches. The ground storey formerly had C20 shop windows, now boarded. 2 end and 1 rear chimney-stack, all with tall narrow plain shafts and corbelled heads. INTERIOR: not inspected.
