SK 24 60 PARISH OF WINSTER EAST BANK 3/18 (West Side) Marmalade Cottage and No 3 East Bank [formerly 12.7.67 listed as (1-4 fast Bank) range of four'cottages opposite 'The Bowling Green' GV Inn] II

Range of two cottages, formerly four. Early C19. Regularly coursed gristone blocks with quoins, coped mid-roof wall, intermediate and north gable brick ridge stacks, Welsh slates and concrete tiles. Two storeys, four bays, with 2-light chamfer mullioned windows, those to ground floor with hoodmoulds and stops and Gothic glazing, those to first floor, single light openings without embellishment. Windows to south side of range have been enlarged, whilst north side retains the original pattern of openings. Four doorways with integrated hoodmoulds and stops, two now altered to form windows, remaining two with C20 doors.
