A group of 3 churchyard monuments:- MON 14: Tombstone. 1774. Ketton stone. TO PRUDENCE, wife of Stephen HAILSTONE; STEPHEN HAILSTONE, 1806; 2 sons, THOMAS, died in infancy & JAMES, 1807. A narrow oval box-tomb on a plinth which once had railings. MON 15: A head and footstone with heavy ledger. 1660. Ketton stone. To a man, 1660 and wife, 1661. On footstone "Here lyes John, Henry, ..., ..., Sons of PHILIP & DOROTHY MILS/ John, 1689, Henry, 1695, Thomas, 1696,... All died in infancy. MON 30: Headstone. 1752. Ketton stone. To GEORGE CANDLER & ELIZ. his wife, 1727. A very elaborate deeply-carved design with angel heads, skulls and drapes, urns and pilasters. Bellied cartouche. (Survey of Monuments in the Great Churchyard c.1960: West Suffolk CC: SECTION 5).
