SK 24 60 PARISH OF WINSTER MAIN STREET 3/36 (North Side) Vernon House (formerly listed 12.7.67 as Vernon House and Vernon Cottage) GV II

House. Formerly house and cottage, Late C18. Rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, flush quoins, plain coped gables, moulded eaves band, intermediate and west gable ashlar ridge stacks, Welsh and stone slate roof. Three storeys, three bays with 2-light flush mullioned windows, glazing bar sashes and continuous eaves band course linking second floor window heads. Two doorways with quoined surrounds, one off-centre, one at east end, both with C20 six panelled doors, with upper two panels glazed.
