High Scorecrag Farmhouse with attached farm building
II
Built circa 1600. White-washed stone rubble, slate roof, two storeys. Door
with Gothic tracery and a non-opening 6-paned window under a lean-to porch
on thick stone supporting walls. An 8-paned sash window to left of porch.
three windows on upper floor - two 6-paned sashes in half-dormers. Chimney on
left hand end. Bee-boles on left under small lean-to low roof. Include
lower stone rubble barn and stables to right at right angles, making L
plan, built of dry stone walling. Interior said to have cupboard dated
1714.
