Row of 3 cottages. 1900-1. By William Huckvale for Charles Rothschild. Coursed squared stone with hipped thatch roof and stone ridge and end stacks with ashlar linked quadruple and triple flues. Vernacular Revival style. 2 storeys. A 5-window range at first floor in all, of 3 3-light leaded stone mullioned casements with 2 2-lights between them set slightly lower. To ground floor are 3 similar 4-light windows with hoodmoulds and to right of each a plank door with flat moulded wooden hood supported on shaped brackets. Further similar windows to ends and rear where there are 6 doors. Part of the significant group of the model estate buildings of Ashton built by Charles Rothschild.
