Villa with attached wall and 2 end piers. c1820-50. Stucco over brick with hipped slate roof; reddish-brown brick wall with stone copings and iron balconies. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement, 2 first-floor windows; 2 and 3 storeys to rear. First-floor has 6/6 sashes, ground floor has tripartite window with 2/2 sashes; all in tooled architraves and with plain reveals. Entrance at right, flight of steps to 4-panel door with side-lights and overlight with glazing bars within distyle Ionic porch with architrave, frieze and cornice. Basement has 6/6 sash and C20 door. Wide eaves, tall off-centre left ridge stack with cornice. Conservatory at left. Left return has 6/6 sashes in tooled architraves, one round-arched. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: ground-floor balcony has double-scroll motif. Coped wall to right approx 5m long by 2m high, ramped upwards to wards house. End pier square on plan with panelled shafts, frieze and cornice with peaked cap. Similar pier to left adjoined by fence (not included).
