Part of hotel, now office building. c1870, restored and altered c1989. Ashlar. Roof not visible behind plain parapet. Italianate style. Moulded first floor sill band and eaves cornice. Doric pilasters dividing each floor into unequal bays, those to the ground floor rusticated. 2 storeys; 3 window range of plain sashes with round-headed, fluted tympana, keystones and impost band. Below, moulded doorcase to left with festoon lintel and renewed door. To right, 2 altered openings with eared architraves, double keystones and bracketed sill band. Dummy door and overlight to left, window to right. Included for group value.
