Office building. c1870, altered late C20. Red brick with rendered ground floor, ashlar and yellow brick dressings and slate roof. One gable stack. Gothic Revival style. Plinth, cornices to ground floor and second floor, ashlar string courses, chamfered brick eaves. Windows are mainly original plain sashes with chamfered pointed arched openings and polychrome brick heads. 2 storeys plus attics; 5 window range. Ground floor has an arcade of 6 chamfered and roll moulded pointed arched openings with ashlar surrounds, cast-iron shafts, foliage capitals and hood moulds. To left, double doors, then a single door, then four C20 windows. Above, 3 pointed arched windows alternating with 2 smaller segment-arched windows. Above again, 3 pointed arched windows. Attics have 3 flat-headed windows.
