Pair of houses, now offices. c1895. By Watson Fothergill of Nottingham. Red brick, with blue brick dressings and plain tile roofs and a central valley stack. Plinth, string course and sill band, gables with bargeboards and finials. Windows are mainly original composite sashes, with glazing bar upper lights and wooden mullions and transoms. 2 storeys plus attics; 4 window range. T-plan. Street front has a central double-gabled projection, with canted bay windows, 4-lights, under hipped roofs. Above, 3-light windows with moulded brick segmental arches. Above again, segment-arched 2-light windows. Set back side bays have in the return angle an octagonal corner tower with 2 windows and spire roof, and a corner opening with lintel on brackets. Flanking this on the inner side, a door and overlight. Over the door, a single window. Returns have a gable with projecting centre, that to the left with a hipped bay window to the ground floor.
