Small town house, now shop. Probably late C18; altered. Painted brick, slate roof. Narrow rectangular plan at right-angles to street. Three low storeys, 2 windows; ground floor altered; 2 segmental-headed windows at 1st floor with altered glazing, 2 smaller segmental-headed 9-pane sashed windows at 2nd floor, both with raised sills and exposed boxes (that to the right damaged); all these windows offset to the right. Wooden modillioned eaves cornice. Interior not inspected. Included as rare survival of domestic building close to city centre.
