Police station, now house. Dated 1893. Rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and gabled and hipped slate roofs. Single gable, ridge, side wall and rear wall stone stacks. EXTERIOR: plinth, coped gables. Single storey and 2 storeys plus attics; 4 window range. Windows have stone mullions and mainly composite sashes. Main block, to left, has to the right a projecting bay with shouldered gable topped with a pediment and containing a segment-headed datestone. First floor cross casement, and below, a 3-light cross casement. To left a 4-light mullioned window and below, a fielded 6-panel door with overlight and canopy on wooden brackets. To its left, a 3-light reglazed cross casement. To right, a tall wavy-topped through-eaves dormer with a cross casement. Above and behind, a gablet with bargeboard and 3-light glazing bar casement. Below, a round-arched cart entrance. To right again, a single storey block a large round-arched 5-light cross mullioned window with plain lights, flanked by single small round windows. Over the window, a recessed panel with erased inscription. INTERIOR not inspected.
