Former Trustee Savings Bank
II
Bank. 1899. Ashlar front with pyramidal slate roof topped with
an octagonal lantern. Renaissance Revival style.
Plinth, sillband, corner pilasters, dentilled cornice,
balustrade with pedestals topped with urns. Single storey; 3
window range. 3 moulded round-arched openings with enriched
keystones, flanked by fluted pilasters. Central panelled
double door with round-headed 2-light casement above it. On
either side, a tall round-arched window with fanlight.
INTERIOR has enriched cornice and panelled ceiling, and walls
clad to three quarter height with moulded glazed tiles. At the
rear, doorcase with clock.
Building vacant at time of survey.
