Public house. c1830 with large late C20 rear extensions. Red
brick with gault brick facade. Red pantiles, black-glazed to
facade. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Late C19 public house
facade comprising 2 doorways, pilasters with block
entablatures and multiply-paned windows. Fascia board bounded
north and south by reeded consoles. First floor with 3
recessed 6/6 unhorned sashes under gauged skewback arches.
Second floor with 2 similar 3/6 sashes and a central blind
window. Dentilled eaves cornice. Gabled roof with 2
flat-topped dormers fitted with 3/6 unhorned sashes. Internal
gable-end stack north and south. Rear of front block has late
C20 top-hung imitation sashes.
INTERIOR: modernised late C20.
