Bank, now offices. c1900. Ashlar with granite ground floor. Roof not visible. 2 coped stone ridge stacks, renewed coped stone side wall stack. Classical Revival style. 4 storeys; 6 window range. Windows are mainly metal framed cross casements. Recessed centre has 3 giant Corinthian columns framing 4 windows with bracketed sills and cornices. Rusticated end bays, slightly projecting, have a single corniced window on each floor. Above, a full width dentilled cornice, set forward at the ends. Attic storey has in the centre 4 windows with Gibbs surrounds, and between them, inverted consoles. End bays, set slightly forward, have pilasters with festoons and single windows with triple keystones. Above, moulded cornice and blocking course. Rusticated arcaded ground floor has round arches with scroll keystones. In the centre, 4 margin glazed windows with bronze frames. At each end, a pair of panelled double bronze doors with overlights. INTERIOR not inspected.
