Boundary Wall. C18. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings. Gabled stone copings. Approx 2m high. The wall runs SW along Black Pot Lane for approx.200m to the junction with New Street, then SE for approx.100m along New Street to a junction with the footpath bordering St.Peter's Churchyard. It then runs SE for approx.70m, bordering the footpath, and then for another approx.70m becomes the wall between the Gascoigne Building and the Churchyard, much being covered by creeper, ending in an ashlar pier which is part of the entrance gateway to the Gascoigne building. This has curved sections of wall to each side and ashlar gate piers, all with flat coping. The wall and entrance form a group with the Gascoigne Building (qv), the Church of St.Peter (qv), and the wall along North Street (qv).
Gardenways is not included.
