II
Lodge cottage. Early C19. Rendered brick and slate roof. Single storey; a basic rectangular plan with slightly later extensions to north and west. Twin gables to the south and east; fluted Gothic bargeboards with hanging finials at the apexes. Each front has oriel bays with fishscale slate roofs and cast-iron casements with leading in lozenge form. A nail-studded door with moulded fillets, moulded architrave and dripmould. A central white brick chimney-stack has 3 shafts with lattice ornamentation on a decorated rectangular base. INTERIOR: not inspected.
