House, now shop with living accommodation above. Early C19. Painted brick with a parapet and heavy stucco cornice. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. 4 window range, arranged 3:1, with 12-pane sashes to the 1st storey in plain reveals and 9-pane sashes to the top storey. A raised stone band runs at 1st storey window-sill level. The ground-storey windows are rounded bows in early C19 style, and a central doorway has a wooden doorcase with fluted pilasters, frieze and cornice hood and a glazed C20 door. The south end breaks forward slightly with chamfered stone quoins to the ground storey and stone pilasters to the upper storeys, and contains the original entrance: a recessed 6-panelled door with 2 leaves. A doorcase with recessed columns has a segmental-headed fanlight with radial glazing bars. INTERIOR: not inspected.
