House and adjoining wash house, stable and boundary wall. Early C18, with late C19 additions and alterations. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and artificial stone slate roof with 2 large coped stone ridge stacks. EXTERIOR: rusticated quoins, eaves cornice, coped gables. 2 storeys plus attics; 7 window range of 12 pane sashes in plain stone surrounds. Above, a ramped pedimented central dormer with a Diocletian window. Central doorway with segmental pediment on brackets, with C19 half-glazed door with Gothic overlight. To its right, three 12 pane sashes and to its left a single one, all with plain stone surrounds. To left again, C19 coped square stone bay window with a 4-light cross casement. Both gables have single sashes to the first floor and Diocletian windows to the attic. Left gable has, to right, a C19 canted bay window. Right gable has a hipped single storey addition, late C19, with a 4-light cross mullioned window. At the rear, adjoining wash house and stables with stone slate roofs with single ridge and single gable stacks. Single and 2 storeys, L-plan. Right gable, to street, has a loft door and below, 2 square hatches. To its left, a boundary wall with moulded stone coping and a board door. INTERIOR not inspected.
