House, now museum. c1675, restored and converted 1977. Red brick, with moulded brick dressings and plain tile roof. Plinth, first floor band, coped gables. Windows are mainly renewed wooden cross casements, with keystones on the lower floors. 2 storeys plus attics; 5 window range. Symmetrical front, with renewed central door and overlight. 2 gables, each with a 3-light casement with glazing bars. INTERIOR has exposed chamfered span beams and fireplace bressumer on the ground floor. Original dogleg stair with winders and turned balusters.
