Pair of houses, No.11 is a retirement home. c.1830 with later alterations. Mass wall construction, roughcast. No.9 is painted. Hipped slate roof with red ridge tiles; stack with red brick chimneyshaft; cast iron rainwater goods.
Plan: rectangular on plan, 2-rooms wide. No.11 (to the right) has a large extension to rear; No.9 has chimneystack to left end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Each house has a symmetrical 3-bay front. Deep boxed eaves with paired shaped brackets. Stucco architraves to windows, No.11 with small keyblocks to ground floor ones. Central entrances, No.9 has a C20 porch and 6-panel door, the top 4 of which are glazed. No.11 has a very pretty early C19 geometric iron porch, a six panel door, the top 4 panels glazed, with rectangular overlight with geometric glazing bars. No.9 has upvc small-pane windows throughout. No.11 has hornless sash windows without glazing bars.
