Gates and gate piers to cattle market. 1886. Made by Charles Smith & Sons of Birmingham. Cast and wrought-iron. 4 square, panelled piers, with moulded capitals and bases. The front panel has the City coat of arms. Cross-gabled caps with bulls' heads below the gables. Between the central piers, a short railing, and on each side, a pair of ornate wrought-iron gates. Beyond, single smaller, simpler piers, linked to the main piers by a short railing. Single wrought-iron side gates.
