GV II

Public house. c1840, with mid C20 additions and alterations.
Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and stone slate
roofs, with 2 gable and single side wall and rear wall stacks.
Crenellated Gothic style. Plinth and crenellated parapet. 2
storeys; 3 window range. Recessed centre, single window. These
windows are renewed 2-light casements with unusual triangular
gabled heads. Below, square flat-roofed C20 porch, flanked by
single C20 4-light C20 casements. Beyond, on either side, a
flat-roofed single storey addition, the left one with a C20
4-light casement, the right one with a small mullioned window.
Right return has a recessed centre and above, 3 triangular
headed windows. INTERIOR not inspected.
