Terrace of 4 houses, altered. Early C19. Rendered limestone
rubble, ridge stacks and hipped slate roof. 2 storeys and
attic; 1:3:2-window range facing New Road.
No.17 has principal front to the left return, double-fronted
with quoins, a round-arched doorway and 6-panel door, with
8/8-pane sashes. No.18 formerly 2 houses, double-fronted with
a round-arched doorway and C20 panelled door, late C19
2/2-pane left-hand sashes, and right-hand first-floor timber
oriel. No.19 with C19 shop fronts, a central doorway and
8/8-pane first-floor sashes, and a wide C20 dormer. No.19A is
in the parallel rear range behind No.19, with an entrance in
the right-hand return, beneath a 10/10-pane sash. INTERIOR not
inspected.
