Inn, now shop and house. C18. Coursed and squared rubble, flush dressed quoins, cornice band, rubble parapet with a plain coping, pent lead-sheeting roof. Virtually symmetrical frontage, 3 storeys, 3 bays; 12-pane sash windows to second floor; 18-pane sash window to centre of first floor with thick glazing bars, to each side a 16-pane sash window in a moulded architrave with an emphasised keystone; similar window to left of ground floor, to right of ground floor a C20 shop front incorporating a glazed door. Principal door opening to centre of ground floor in a stone surround, half glazed door, stone slab hood on console brackets. Two storeys, 3 bay addition to left, coursed and squared rubble, tile roof, coped verge, brick stack; 3 bays, 4-pane sash windows to first floor, small casement and a large plank door to ground floor.
