Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. Late C17. Limestone rubble with double-Roman pantile roof and large ridge stack to left of door. 2-unit central through-passage plan with rear right wing connected at the corner and gabled at both ends. No.17 to the left occupies the left half of the front range, No.19 the rest. 2 storeys with attics; symmetrical 2-window range. C19 three-light casement windows at eaves level to the first floor, 3-light windows with central sliding sash to the ground floor; C20 dormer to No.17. INTERIOR: the stack to the open fire (which has a Tudor-arched oak lintel) of No.17 backs onto passage; a chamfered axial beam has heart-shaped stops. To front right corner an early C18 wood-lined recess with shaped shelves and simple shell-type coving. First floor, once one room, now divided, has a quartered ceiling of various chamfers and stops and a crude joint to centre, possibly re-used timber, and an exposed pegged boxframe to right gable end. The 2-bay attic has boxed-in rafters and purlins.
