11/98 Remains of churchyard cross in churchyard, about 7 m south of chancel, Church of St Peter -
GV II
Remains of churchyard cross. Probably early C14. Red sandstone. One octagonal step with square step projecting below, possibly reset, tall socket much eroded so as to appear octagonal although Pooley described it in 1877 as a square broached to on octagon, stump of tapering shaft with broaches above. (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877).
