Farmhouse. Early C17 with mid-C19 and some mid-C20 alterations. Timber- frame with rendered infill and machine-tile roof. Modified T-plan, cross- wing of two bays at east end aligned north/south, stack at junction with three shafts of 6-point star plan; hall range extending to west of three bays, a single-bay addition to north of west bay, with porch and stack on south of same bay; the ashlar stack has three diamond-plan brick shafts. South front: two storeys with gable-lit attic to cross-wing on right; two plus one windows: 2-light casement to centre, other two are of three lights; ground floor has a 5-light casement to left, other two are of two lights. In angle with cross-wing a gabled stair turret, porch to left-hand corner now blocked, entrance to rear. Framing: three square panels high to first floor, close-studded on ground floor, straight angle braces and straight tension braces.
