2. Early or mid C18 [Sun Insurance Company policy d.1754]. Nodular flint with brick dressings and brick canted bays. Painted. Pitched tile roof. Red brick blocking course to gable end. Red brick chimney. 2 storeys and attics. Projecting wooden eaves cornice with cyma reversa modillions. Plain brick stringcourse above ground floor. 2 ranges of canted bays on both floors with double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and weatherboarded and sprocketed section between storeys. Between these bays is one 6-panelled -door (partly glazed) with moulded surround, pediment taken on consoles, and 3 ashlar steps up with flanking iron railings. 1 casement window on north side has lead glazing bars. East canted bay has planked cellar door at pavement level. 2 attic dormers with hipped tile gables and casements with diagonal lead glazing bars.
Nos 14 to 38 (even) are sometimes called The Parade. Nos 14 to 18 (even) form a group.
