2. Circa 1850 [when Mill Road was laid out (map in Arundel Castle Archives)]. Pulborough stone. 3 semi-circular arches (central one depressed). Massive stringcourse at road level. Parapet with battered coping, ending in circular piers with conical caps. Recessed passing places with 90 degree salient angles corbelled out on squinches between arches.
The Home Farmhouse, farm buildings, pumping house and bridge form a group together with the retaining walls to the pools.
