1821 (date panel). Terraced cottages. Malmstone with yellow brick dressings.
South elevation beach flint with red brick dressings. Hipped slate roofs (Nos 7-15
steeper than those of Nos 17-25: slate-hung gable end at join) with overhanging
eaves.
2 storeys. Yellow brick modillion eaves cornice. 1 window range each of segment-headed, flush framed double-hung sashes with glazing bars, except for those of No 25 and that on ground floor of No 23, which are in reveals (No 25's are straight-headed, and No 23's has red brick dressings). No 7 has 2 window ranges, and a shop front on the ground floor of each, that on south side is flush with wall, has incised line decoration on the frame, and glazing bars, that on the north side is a bay
supported on wooden brackets, and has glazing bars. No 15 also has a bay shop
front supported on brackets, with a frame decorated with incised lines, double-hung
sashes, and glazing bars. 1 door each, grouped in pairs, except for Nos 7, 23
and 25. All 6-panelled, with some glazing inserted, except for Nos 25, 11 and
7 which are modern. Doorways in frames with pediments over; incised line decoration
on pilasters and frieze. No 25 has a round arched doorway in plain reveals and
a blocked fanlight. Nos 7-15 have gutters supported on iron brackets.
Nos 7 to 25 (odd) form a group.
