Parish Church. Late C13 chancel, remodelled on construction of tower early C14, C15 nave and north aisle. Restored 1852.
Flint with ashlar quoins and slate roofs. Tower of 3 stages with diagonal flushwork buttresses to west and flat to east. West face with niche below 2-light cusped Y window. Lancet each side at second stage, that to south trefoiled. 2-light belfry windows supporting reticulation units east and west, ogeed north and south. Battlemented parapet.
C19 gabled north porch with low parapet on kneelers and moulded arch. 3 flat buttresses to nave with 3 3-light panel tracery perpendicular windows under pointed segmental arches and hood moulds. Additional diagonal buttress to east of north aisle and similar east window.
South chancel lit by one renewed lancet and one 2-light decorated window of 2 ogees supporting double reticulation units. East gable on kneelers. East window 1852: 4 trefoiled lights under sub arches with encircled cinquefoils supporting vesica with pattern of trefoils. Chancel south with 2-light decorated window as north, 2-light Y window 1852 and arched Priest's door. Substantially C15 2-storey south porch. Gabled above square parvis window and wave moulded arch with hood. Diagonal buttresses.
Interior: 3 bay north arcade of hollow chamfers and continuous rolls on polygonal bases. No capitals. Nave roof reconstructed 1852; arched braces to principals dropping to corbels. Single butt purlins and braced ridge piece with fleuron bosses. North aisle roof similar. Perpendicular chancel arch of octagonal responds and polygonal capitals with double chamfered arch and wave to west. Chancel roof 1852 with battlemented wall plate and arched braces on corbels carved with naturalistic foliage. Screen is 1852 in 6 bays with arched opening below ribbed coving to east and west. Late C13 double piscina in form of window tracery. 2 trefoiled arches on circular shafts with moulded capitals supporting encircled quatrefoil. Font has C14 bowl on C19 stem, the former decorated with encircled quatrefoils and 2-light tracery patterns.
