Projecting portico with Ionic pilasters linked by a swag flanking a round-arched entrance with keystone; entablature surmounted by a stone balustrade continuing across the first floor windows. First floor windows with lugged architraves and pediments; second floor lugged architraves, bracketted sills and continuous sill band; third floor projecting cornice and architraved sashes. Rear elevation with wide bow running through the main storeys. Interior in sumptuous Empire style; high quality workmanship under the supervision of Charles Mellier and Co, using French craftsmen. Features include marble paved entrance hall with elegant cantilevered, curved stair forming diminishing oval well and having cast iron balusters and brass hand rail; lit by circular lantern with plasterwork swags. Stairwell with niche recesses to enriched panelled walls. Good marble fireplaces with brass enrichment throughout. First floor drawing rooms with central marble Ionic screen.
