2. Late C18. Red brick, with gauged brick voussoirs. Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. Brick modillion eaves cornice. Parapet with ashlar coping, masking roof. 3 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on 1st floor, 2 on ground floor flanking porch. 6-Panelled door (top 4 panels fielded) and oblong fanlight in panelled reveals with panelled soffit: original brass handle and keyhole. Porch has 3-centred arch with fluted keystone to front, and straight entablatures to sides, taken on 2 Tuscan pilasters, 1 Tuscan column, and 1 treetrunk. Incised roundels above capitals, paterae in spandrels of arch and moulded modillions in groups of 3 to deeply projecting cornice. 4 limestone steps to door, flanked by iron railings, east one incorporating boot-scraper. 2 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars to cellars, with iron grilles in front
Nos 36 to 64 (even) and Nos 70 to 74 (even) form a group with Nos 83, 85 and 91 to 101 (odd).
