Lock keeper's house. Late C18. Painted brick; plain tile roof; brick ridge stack. 2 storeys with eaves band. Slightly irregular 4 window front; casements. Entrance to left hand gable. The Act for the Trent and Mersey Canal was passed in 1765. B.o.E. p.36.
