House now 2 houses. C17 remodelled C20. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. C20
tile roof. 4 stone stacks to ends and ridge. 4-unit plan. Single storey plus
attic. 4-window range. 2 doors: 6-panelled to centre has moulded wood surround
and flat hood; C20 door to right has wooden lintel. Two 4-light C20 casements to
left have wooden lintels. Two 3-light casements to right have wooden lintels.
Four 3-light metal casements to attic have wooden lintels. Stone coping to left.
Rear of Corner Cottage: Tall gabled staircase projection to left has 2 stone
mullioned windows to first floor and attic. To right a 3-light stone mullioned
window to both ground floor and first floor have hood moulds and label stops.
Stonework to mullions partly renewed. Plank door to left of staircase has
moulded wood surround. Moulded kneelers to coping to right. Corner Cottage: Stop
chamfered beams, chamfered bressumer to inglenook fireplace, stone flag floors,
wide wooden spiral staircase to attic which continues in stone to cellar, 4
centred arched stone fireplace in upstairs bedroom with wide plank floor.
