G.V. II

Rectory. Late C17 with extensive early and some late C19 alterations. Red brick, some rubble and ashlar. Plain tile roof, hipped to the right on the garden front. 2 rendered ridge stacks and single large external stack incorporated in the single third left bay being part rubble and on a rubble plinth. 2 storeys, 6 bays. Having from left to right a single small fixed light, a single tripartite glazing bar casement, a single glazing bar casement, a doorway with part glazed door and trellis porch, a single projecting C19 brick and ashlar bay with 2 sashes to the front and single smaller sashes in each side wall, and a single glazing bar sash. Above from left to right is a single tripartite casement under segmental arch, a single glazing bar sash, a single glazing bar casement in the corner of the stack and 3 large glazing bar casements. To the left, set back, is a single storey outbuilding. The east side of 3 bays with single ridge stack has a single similar projecting C19 bay and to the right a single glazing bar sash. Above are 2 similar sashes with single painted sash to the left. Interior has re-used early C17 panelling in the entrance corridor. Single room on the first floor with small bolection moulded fireplace. Included for group value only.
