House. 1718, with C18 and C19 additions. Red brick (Flemish bond) with ashlar quoins and dressings; hipped plain tile roof; brick ridge stacks. Main house aligned north-south facing east; rear extension wings aligned east-west. 2 storeys and attic with moulded plinth, rusticated quoins of unequal length and cyma recta moulded eaves cornice. 5 bays; 18-pane glazing bar sashes with aprons, moulded sills, sash boxes and gauged brick heads with raised keystones; 3 attic dormers with hipped roofs. Central half-glazed door with panelled and bolection moulded surround, raised key and broken semi-circular pediment on console brackets. The pediment is flanked by two heraldic shields and contains a third. South front. 2-bay main house to the right has slightly irregular fenestration; glazing bar sashes with segmental heads and stair window to the left. C18 rear wing of 2 storeys to the left. North front. 2-bay main house to the left with 8-pane sashes to the left hand bay, 12-pane sashes to first floor right and casement to ground floor right. All windows have segmental heads. Rear wing dated H.M.C. 1881. 2 storeys; 3 bays, casements with segmental heads. 2 half- glazed doors. Interior. The 2 front rooms have early C18 wooden wall panelling. Resited early C18 staircase with turned balusters. B.o.E. pp. 203-4.
